– Raised in Atlanta, Georgia
– Married 50+ years to Linda Anderson Butts \u2013 met at UGA in the Redcoat Band
\u2013 Graduate of the University of Georgia \u2013 Management Information Systems Degree
Professional Career<\/strong>
Focused on the Marketing and Implementation of \u201cNew\u201d Computer Technology<\/em>
– Accounting and banking software for the largest mainframe computers,
– Launched initial software applications for the first personal computers and first popular Unix computers
– Helped launch the first Blackberries (Mobile devices) with BellSouth
– Guest speaker and panelist for wireless and technology conferences
– Advised several start-up telecom companies with their initial stock offerings
