50th Anniversary Alumni Band Cruise – In The Books!
In February, a group of 22 alumni embarked on the first Redcoat Alumni leisure trip, a Western Caribbean cruise aboard Mariner of the Seas. On board, the group
enjoyed Redcoat-themed activities: a welcome cocktail party, a Redcoat trivia contest
(while perusing old Redcoat Reflectors and watching Redcoat and Redcoat Alumni pregame and halftime shows), a kazoo jam session, a tour of the ship’s kitchen, and dinners together each night! Separately, cruisers enjoyed the Mariner’s FlowRider, a Women in Wine tasting session, shows in the Royal Theater, late nights out (Maureen and Rick Tessari even won “Best Couple” at a late night gathering), and a number of
shore excursions, to include tours of ancient Mayan ruins, snorkeling, and swimming with dolphins!
