Dennis AsKew Satin Silver Sousaphone Scholarship

This scholarship honors the noted alumnus, band captain, and earliest of the Redcoat satin silver Sousaphones. A 1987 graduate, Dennis’s enthusiasm for UGA and the Redcoats was fundamental to his character. He continued to evangelize for both during his graduate study and legendary career as tuba professor and School of Music director at UNC-Greensboro.
