Performance Uniform: To help us fully participate in the “White Out” for the game, Athletics is providing a performance shirt for Musicians, Auxiliary and Drum Majors. (You have sent us your sizes.) Saturday morning, registered performers first should pick up your nametag (Walkups register and obtain a nametag), THEN proceed to the shirt tables showing your nametag to the Shirt Team to get your white performance t-shirt. Musicians, Auxiliaries and Drum Majors must wear all black below the waist.

August 18, 2026 – If you ordered game tickets in the Alumni Band Block, they’ve all been transferred now. Check your email for instructions on how to download them to your Apple or Google Wallet. (If you don’t see the email, check your spam folder).
If you registered for Alumni Band Day, (or will be a Walk-Up), but still don’t have game tickets, check our UGA Redcoat Alumni Band Members Only Facebook group for other alumni who’s plans have changed so need to get rid of their tickets now. The Ticket Swap section is pinned to the top of the group.
Has your schedule Changed? – You can still join us! – Obtain your own game ticket, complete the Walk-up Registration Form (click here), pay the Walk-up Registration fee and receive your official sideline pass to enter the field to perform.
Key Dates
June 5, 2026 – Registration opens via the link in the email sent to Redcoat Alumni only.
July 15, 2026 – Auxiliaries deadline to order performance shirt – (If you don’t already have yours – New designs in 2021).
June 28, 2026 – (11:59 pm) – Registration soft deadline with the Game Day Tickets option – (unless our Alumni Band Blocks have already sold out).
July 27, 2026 – (noon) – Registration ends.

2026 ALUMNI WEEKEND INFO
UGA Redcoat Alumni Band Day will be on SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 12th ( 12:45 pm kickoff ) when Georgia hosts Western Kentucky Between the Hedges on Dooley Field in Sanford Stadium.
Rehearsal will be at Redcoat Field (Intramural Field #9 on Lake Herrick Drive), and then we move to Sanford Stadium for the game.
Parking will be available at the Intramural Deck. Complete Game day schedule TBA.
In-Person or Virtual Participation:
If you’re unable to be with us in Athens this year, you can still “Perform with us VIRTUALLY.”
With the payment of your $40 registration fee, you become a Supporting Member of the RBAA.
You’ll be counted as an Alumni Band Day 2026 participant, and you’ll receive your commemorative souvenir field pass via postal mail after Alumni Band Day.
Note that purchasing tickets in the RBAA band block is NOT available for virtual performers, as limited ticket availability is for IN PERSON performers and their families.
Your In-Person or Virtual Registration Link will be found only in the announcement email. (Not this web site, Newsletter or Social Media.)
To participate on the field, you must REGISTER, wear your 2026 RBAA FIELD PASS to enter the field, and wear ONLY the APPROVED UNIFORM.
Game Tickets
YOU MUST HAVE A GAME TICKET TO ENTER THE STADIUM. Once the RBAA ticket allocation in the Alumni Block is sold out, the ticket link will no longer be operational. However, other third-party sources are available for game tickets, such as StubHub, Ticketmaster, etc.
You can also check our alumni members’ Facebook Group Page under Ticket Swap. (UGA Redcoat Alumni Band Members Only).
Everyone (including babies) will need to have a game ticket to enter the stadium. Reserving game tickets in the alumni band block will be open as a part of EARLY Alumni Band Weekend Registration.
If you have season tickets or plan to obtain your game ticket elsewhere, Alumni Band Weekend Registration will remain open until a month before the game. (See Key Dates Above).
Alumni Rehearsal Location and Game day Parking
Alumni rehearsal location – Georgia Redcoat Band Practice Field – (Field #9 within the Intramural Fields complex)
Free game day parking is available in the Intramural Field parking deck – First come, first served. (See the maps below).
Free shuttle from Redcoat Field to the Stadium at the end of rehearsal.
Note – Parking on the road shoulders is restricted on Lake Herrick Dr. and the road leading to the field (where you make the left turn at the tennis courts), as well as the staff and truck lot adjacent to the tower. (Ingress/Egress of trucks/equipment is difficult with vehicles parked in those areas).
So, you must be in a real parking space. (The UGA Police could write tickets, or even tow. Don’t take the chance.)

Redcoat Alumni Musicians
To participate on the field at Alumni Band Weekend, musicians must wear the official Alumni Band uniform. The uniform consists of the Official RBAA RED shirt (Drum Dog or 50th Anniversary logo), black pants, black sox, black shoes (no white soles, no manufacturer’s logos in colors per NCAA rules), and if you elect to wear a hat (not required) it must be the Official RBAA RED ball cap (no other headgear). Drum Major black shirts are also available. To order the required shirt and optional hat (shipped direct to your address), see the link in your Alumni Band Weekend Registration Confirmation email.

For the Homecoming Game 2026 – The Redcoat Band is calling for auditions for Alumni Battle Hymn Trumpet Soloist. The selected performer will play the 14 notes during the Redcoat Band Pregame show on Homecoming Saturday vs. Vanderbilt on October 3rd, 2026. This game will have an early afternoon kickoff, so we will have an early morning rehearsal. The selected performer would need to be prepared to rehearse with the band sometime between 7:00 and 9:00am on gameday morning, followed by a sound check at the stadium between 8:30 and 10:30am and the performance with 8:00 remaining on the pregame clock.
To be considered for the opportunity, you must have completed at least one season as a member-in-good-standing of the Redcoat Band trumpet section. Auditions from members of other sections will not be considered. Due date for audition submission is Monday, September 21 at 11:59 pm EDT.
