What We Know:
- Homecoming Date – Saturday, November 4th, 2023, the Missouri game.
- RBAA 50th Anniversary Kickoff – The RBAA 50th Anniversary Year-Long Celebration will start with Homecoming 2023 and end with Homecoming 2024. Watch your monthly newsletter for details.
- Game Time – TBD – TV and media will set time 6-10 days before the game. Our Schedule of Events to be published when game time is set.
- Key Dates: Registration Begins: July 17, 2023
- Registration Deadline for signup including tickets in the RBAA block is CLOSED AS OF July 28th. The RBAA allotment of 450 tickets was SOLD OUT in 11 DAYS
- Registration Deadline if you are obtaining you own game ticket is September 24, 2023 at noon – CLOSED. Past this date/time, the only option is Walkup Registration the morning of Homecoming. Walkup Registrations will not allow the planning time for borrowed instruments.
- Payments – Payments for Homecoming Registration and Donations can be made by your credit card or PayPal account. It is not mandatory to have a PayPal account to pay by credit card. Your registration process will display the RBAA PayPal account for payment (see “credit card” link at the bottom of the first PayPal screen).
- Musician and Auxiliary uniforms are available for online purchase. Links available in registration confirmation email.
- Musician music is available. Password access is listed in your Homecoming Registration Confirmation email.
- New – To borrow a sousaphone, baritone or mellophone, there is a $20 fee to offset some of the storage, maintenance and transportation costs of these RBAA instruments. As in past years, bring a mouthpiece.
- Plan for Drill Charts and Drill Positions to be availability about a week before Homecoming.
- Homecoming Parade – Like last year, Redcoat Alumni are planning to “walk” (not march, not play) right behind the Redcoats in the Homecoming Parade on Friday night November 3rd. Wear your uniform shirt. Check your emails (as we get closer) for details on a Redcoat Alumni Gathering after the parade.
- The RBAA 50th Anniversary Committee will host a “Redcoat Alumni gathering” on Friday night, November 3rd, after the parade. Cash food and drink. Fun included. So we know how to plan, note your attendance in your registration.

FAQs
Everyone (including babies) will need to have a game ticket to enter the stadium. Reserving game tickets in the alumni band block will be open as a part of EARLY Homecoming Registration. All tickets in the Redcoat Alumni block are now sold, however, there are numerous other ticket sources for you to obtain your own game ticket(s). If you have season tickets or plan to obtain your game ticket elsewhere, Homecoming Registration for Alumni Band Homecoming activities will remain open until a month before the game. (See Key Dates above)
Again this year is a unique opportunity to perform “virtually” with us at Homecoming but not actually march on the field. By registering, you will receive your commemorative field pass souvenir via mail after Homecoming. As a donating supporter of the Redcoats, you’ll be counted as a 2023 Homecoming participant. Please complete the rest of this registration form, and let us know whether you will be participating “In Person” OR “Virtual.” Note that purchasing tickets in the RBAA band block is not available for virtual performers; as limited ticket availability is for IN PERSON performers and their families.
TV coverage will dictate the game time, and our homecoming event schedule will be adjusted to the start time when the game time is decided. The schedule will be posted in UPDATES above and in Social Media as we get closer to the game date.

To participate on the field at Homecoming, musicians must wear the official Alumni Band uniform. The uniform consists of the Official RBAA RED shirt (Drum Dog or 50th Anniversary logo), black pants, black sox, black shoes (no white soles, no manufacturer’s logos in colors per NCAA rules), and if you elect to wear a hat (not required) it must be the Official RBAA RED ball cap (no other headgear). Redcoat Field (within the Intramural Fields complex) – View Campus Map with Redcoat Field identified near Intramurial Parking Deck.
Free parking is available in the Intramural Field parking deck closest to Redcoat Field – first come, first served. See map below. Free shuttle from Redcoat Field (Intramural Field #9) to Stadium at the conclusion of rehearsal.
Update – Parking is now restricted on the side road leading to the field (where you make the left turn at the tennis courts & dumpster), as well as the staff and truck lot adjacent to the tower. Ingress/Egress of trucks/equipment is difficult with vehicles parked in those areas.
Please register as quickly as you can, so we will know our numbers for the formations. The plan is to have Marching Charts and Drill Numbers available to download at least a week before the event.
